Week Calendar

This is a great program for seniors or anyone who is unable to exercise due to physical limitations. Build your strength and endurance to keep active. Registration is not required.

Come walk with us every Thursday morning to raise money for Not Forgotten Home & Community Services! We’ll gather at the library and head out at 9 a.m.

Book Babies is a 30 minute story time designed for children ages 0 to 18 months old and their caretakers. During story time, children are introduced to pre-literacy and social skills through fun songs, rhymes, stories, and free play.

Need a good book? Come see us every Saturday between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. and browse our collection of gently used books. All proceeds benefit the library.

Children of all ages and their caregivers are invited to join us for a very lively and interactive time of singing, playing instruments, and dancing.

Toddler Tales, a storytime for children ages 1.5 to 3.5 years old, is designed to get your little one movin' and groovin' while sparking their curiosity about the world of books.

We'll have some laughs together while using our brains to play all kinds of games like Wheel of Fortune, Guess Who I Am, trivia, word puzzles, and more. Game Day is light on competition and heavy on fun. Join us!

Join us for a recently released movie featured on our big screen TV. The movie this week will be TBA.

Join us for a FUN-tastic performance from cartoonist and host of WQED's Cartoon Academy, Joe Wos! Kids 5 and up are invited to see Joe tell and draw some great stories. This program is in place of K-5 S.T.E.A.M. Hour for this day.

Teens in grades 6-12, come and join us for an afternoon of fun, games, and friendship together! We'll have board games, our Nintendo Switch, snacks for those who stay, and other great activities. Come join us for a good time!

Kids in grades K-5, join us for a cartooning and art workshop led by cartoonist and host of WQED's Cartoon Academy, Joe Wos!

Bring your projects and work on them with other crafters every Thursday from 6:30-8:30 p.m. New to crafting? Crochet and knitting experts will be on hand to help you learn, plus others can share their crafting knowledge.

Calling all poets!  Join the Pittsburgh Poetry Exchange the first Monday of every month for a lively, engaging collaboration and workshop.  Each participant should bring 15 copies of a poem to workshop.

Engage in a beneficial yoga practice with knowledgeable instructor Dave Gregory. 

This class is for all levels. Come as you're able. No registration required.

Bring a yoga mat and water.

Teens, it doesn't matter how good of an artist you are... you'll still have a BLAST getting friends to guess your ridiculous drawings in this game night on our interlibrary teen Discord server, the Sheep Farmers, with kids all across the county!
